I have just completed my 13th week of Chemotherapy with only 3 weeks to go before being transferred to my Stem Cell transplant team in Leicester.

To be honest I now feel the best I have felt since being diagnosed and starting Chemotherapy, I can only praise the NHS and my MDT team they have been unbelievable❤️

I have now been off Thalidomide (the T in my DVTD Chemotherapy) for 4 weeks as it was giving me Neuropathy and tremors in both arms & hands which has really done the trick as both symptoms have dissapeared.

I had new full body MRi and PEt scans and received the results this week which showed that I have no new bone disease which I was really pleased about but unfortunately the MRi showed that my C3/C4 neck fracture is still unstable and I have been referred to a spinal specialist and must continue to wear my neck brace 24/7 indefinitely, which also means still no driving......but hey ho the real positive is no new bone disease😁

My 13 weeks of Chemotherapy has now reduced my paraprotein levels to 1.2 which is way below my target for my stem cell transplant(SCT) and a huge positive ahead of me starting my SCT treatment on the 13th of June, the only negative is my Kidney function has continued to drop and is now boarderline needing treatment but still only being monitored for now.

Im enjoying the sun and remain really positive & confident ill get into remission.
